Born from a frustration with pretty, useless websites.

SAKURA INT was founded in July 2020 in Chiba, Japan, by web strategy consultant Takuma Ishii. The founding observation was blunt: most businesses don't need a more beautiful website or more followers — they need someone who understands how design, content, SNS, search, and sales connect into revenue, and who will treat the client's business like their own.

That approach — hearing first, strategy before production, plain language instead of jargon, and handovers so thorough clients can run things themselves — earned an unusually high repeat rate and more than 500 projects across commerce, manufacturing, real estate, education, tourism, entertainment, welfare, government, and more.

The client list runs from startups and family businesses to major corporations, professional sports teams, and creators with over a million subscribers — including established YouTubers and VTubers at Japan's largest talent agencies. The width isn't an accident: because the method is strategy-first, it transfers across industries where template playbooks fail.
