Who we are
This website (eu.sakura-int.com) is operated by SAKURA INT, a sole proprietorship based in Yachimata, Chiba, Japan, represented by Takuma Ishii ("we", "us"). For any privacy matter, contact t.ishii@sakura-int.com.
What we collect, and why
- Contact form data — name, email address, and any details you choose to include (company, website, message). We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver our services. Legal basis: your consent and pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
- Server logs — our hosting provider (Xserver Inc., Japan) automatically records IP addresses and request data for security and error diagnostics, retained for a limited period. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
- Web fonts — this site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request (including your IP address) to Google when the page loads. See Google's privacy policy for details.
What we don't do
- We set no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why you see no cookie banner.
- We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
- We send no newsletters or marketing emails unless you explicitly ask for them.
Where your data lives
Enquiries are delivered by email to our business inbox and processed in Japan. Japan holds an adequacy decision from the European Commission, meaning the EU recognizes Japanese data protection as essentially equivalent to the GDPR for transferred data.
Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, then delete it. You may request deletion at any time.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email t.ishii@sakura-int.com.
